Bespoke, modern vans are being used more frequently for promotional and catering purposes. The large interior space offers more flexibility, so they can be designed and fully fitted to meet every need. They also benefit from being completely road legal, so they can be used in an abundance of locations.
Modern Catering Trucks
Recently, the Classic French Vans team converted a Citroen Relay for Mowi Scotland as a promotional vehicle dubbed ‘The Salmon Wagon’. It was fitted with refrigeration units, an LPG char grill as well as a digital wall screen to display menus and other promotional material. Due to the success of the promotional campaign, the hire of the vehicle became a long term lease.

We work closely with our graphic design partners Now Group to design and wrap these vehicles to produce a head turning finish. We can convert modern vehicles to fit any catering, retail or promotional need; fitting fully equipped kitchens or display stands as required.

Catering Vehicles
Another successful project was a ‘Tuk Truck’ for Edinburgh University. This included both a modern Citroen Relay as well as a vintage Citroen HY van. The main requirement for these vehicles was to ensure that the interior space was maximised to fit fully fitted kitchens. Both vehicles required a full fabrication service and customisation. Working with our graphic design partners, Now Group we designed an eye catching concept that would make these vehicles bright and inviting. They really do stand out from the crowd!
